On 2^nd -3^rd November 2016, the third SENSKIN plenary meeting took place at the premises of project partner RISA in Berlin, Germany, with all project participants present. During this meeting, various subjects were extensively discussed. The discussions particularly focused on the progress of the SENSKIN Work Packages (WPs) with attention on the recent developments on the SENSKIN sensor, data acquisition system and their tests. The meeting was followed by two distinct workshop, the first concentrating on the WPs 2, 3 and 4, for example the sensor design and development, the communication system and system integration, as well as the testing of the SENSKIN system. The second workshop was dedicated to discussions for the WPs 5 and 6, for example the structural assessment methodologies as well as the life-cycle-costing and life-cycle-assessment parts of SENSKIN.
