Egnatia is the company delegated the authority of designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the 680km long Egnatia Motorway, a TEN-T core network stretching from Western Greece to the Greek / Turkish border. The Egnatia Motorway includes: Many major split carriageway bridges covering a motorway length of 40km (measured as 80km of single carriageway), a significant number of twin-bore tunnels covering a motorway length of more than 45km (measured as 90km of single carriageway), 50 interchanges, 350 overbridges and underpasses, and 720km of service roads. These special features render the Egnatia Motorway one of the largest infrastructure projects under operation in Europe.
